Whether guiding clients through the demanding process of selling or purchasing a home or leading fellow volunteers in meeting philanthropic goals, realtor Shannon Aronson is dedicated to serving with a purpose. Aronson’s drive to help people in the many demanding stages of their lives has yielded tremendous success in her career path: first as a family therapist and now as a realtor and non-profit leader. It is her belief that service to others and financial success are synergistic elements of the modern entrepreneur.

After 7 years as a therapist, Aronson entered professional real estate as an investor and home flipper in 2002, where she demonstrated an acute understanding of where to find value in the market. Her career as a successful investor and keen understanding of the NYC suburban landscape led her down the path to becoming a realtor at Keller Williams, the international real estate franchise and #1 real estate company in the U.S. There, she has also found meaningful work with KW Cares, the charitable arm of the business, most recently via a trip to Houston to assist in Hurricane Harvey relief work.

Achieving those career goals while taking time for volunteer work, Aronson is making her mark in the world of real estate. She has been one of the very select few realtors earning the New Jersey Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence Platinum Award every year since 2011. This is the highest level obtainable within this prestigious commendation. Aronson and her team have consistently been among the very top producers in New Jersey, having been in the top 1% every year since 2009. When compared with her local competitors, she and her team outperform average agents’ rankings in virtually every major category including Days On Market, Selling Price to Listing Price ratio, and accurate original pricing strategies. She has also been a finalist in New Jersey Monthly Leading Women Entrepreneurs and Business Owners and was ranked as one of America’s Best Real Estate Agents by REAL Trends (in partnership with Trulia and Zillow).

Aronson is the author of Don’t Give It Away: Maximize The Sales Price Of Your Home By Discovering The Emotional Mistakes Every Home Seller Makes…And How To Avoid Them (2017). As detailed in the book, she and her team utilize a seven-step, unique, home selling process that takes the guesswork out of pricing properties and allows the client to feel in control of the process.

Originally from the Midwest, Shannon has a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University. An 18-year resident of Short Hills, Aronson’s three children have gone through the Millburn Public School system. Former singer for a local, all-female rock band, “The Mood Swings,” Shannon enjoys time with her family, travel, and going into Manhattan for concerts, shows, and fun.
